Class Description

Taekwondo is a system of symmetrical body exercises or techniques designed for self defense and counterattack in unarmed combat, making use of the hands and feet as weapons and defenses. Taekwondo training consists of hardening the body through practice of the various attack and defense forms.

Personal Training consists of guiding clients interested in weight loss, muscle building and increasing their fitness levels on the appropriate modes of action. Geared to working with clients to create individualized plans for achieving their fitness goals and provide supplemental nutritional information.

Boxing Fitness is an exercise class based on the training concepts boxers use to keep fit. Classes can take a variety of formats but a typical one may involve shadow-boxing, skipping, hitting pads, kicking punchbags, press-ups, shuttle-runs and sit-ups.


Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. Zumba routines incorporate interval training — alternating fast and slow rhythms — to help improve cardiovascular fitness.


SilverSneakers Classic focuses on strengthening muscles and increasing range of movement for daily life activities. Participants can use hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball. Often a chair is used for seated exercises or standing support.

SilverSneakers Yoga, for example, offers a chair so you can perform a variety of seated and standing poses designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. You'll also practice breathing and relaxation exercises to reduce stress. Check your SilverSneakers eligibility here.

The SilverSneakers Circuit workout offers standing, low-impact choreography alternated with standing upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball. A chair is available for standing support.

Boom Move. A higher intensity dance workout class that improves cardio endurance and burns calories. The class focuses on cardio endurance by starting with simple dance moves then building into more complex sequences, bringing you a great cardio workout.
